Dottie was born on September 18, 2005 and came to us from Arkansas. She is our little star. At the age of 4 months, she competed in her first hunt test and earned her Started Hunting Retriever title by time she was 5 months old, and became the youngest dog we’ve ever titled. Dottie is not only a retrieving machine, but also a big sweetheart of a dog. She loves people and recently earned another title, that of “Puppy Sitter.” She can often be found in the whelping boxes, surrounded by puppies, cleaning and playing gently with them. We can’t wait for Dottie pups, they will surely be both incredible hunters and wonderful companion dogs.
